Peter and Doris Kule are major philanthropists who have made an enormous impact on Canadian higher education. This book offers the first-ever biography of the Kules. It is based on interviews with the couple and contains many family photos. The book also gives information about each of the major educational programs supported by the Kules. There is historical information about the program and testimonies describing the effect that Peter and Doris have had on the program, on faculty, and on students.

The book was co-edited by Natalie Kononenko, Kule Chair of Ukrainian Ethnography at the Kule Folklore Centre, and Serge Cipko, Ukrainian Diaspora Studies Initiative, Kule Ukrainian Canadian Studies Centre at the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, both at the University of Alberta.
