Our B.A. Programs in Ukrainian and Expected Language Proficiency

As stated in the previous section, our program relies heavily on the Proficiency Guidelines formulated by the American Council of Teachers of Foreign languages. The chart below compares the scales of the ACTFL and the Common European Framework of Reference. It also indicates the minimum number of hours each of our

B. A. programs in Ukrainian Culture, Language and Literature devotes to instruction in Ukrainian, and the expected outcome of proficiency.

the B.A. Honors Program;

the B.A. Combined Honors  and the B.A. Major;
