Our Mission at the Undergraduate Level
We endeavor to impart understanding of the complexities of intercultural exchange and provide undergraduate students with the linguistic competence and critical thinking skills required in today’s global world. We prepare them for careers in a number of fields that include education, law, international relations, and business, as well as further study at the graduate level.
The B.A. at our university is designed to provide students with a diversified education and specialization in at least one subject. Students must complete either a major and a minor, or a double major. For an overview of all degree requirements, please read the section Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in the university calendar.
Undergraduate students wishing to specialize in Ukrainian Culture, Language and Literature may do so by pursuing one of five programs for the Bachelor of Arts. Each of these programs pursues a clearly defined language proficiency goal. To learn about our criteria, click on Language Proficiency Goals.
