STUDY IN UKRAINE

Hello!  This section of our web site consists of three parts.  The first discusses in detail the courses Ukrainian through its Living Culture I & II, which are taught in Lviv by our own faculty, during Intersession.

  • Please note that the 2012 European Football Championship (UEFA), commonly referred to as Euro 2012, will be hosted by Poland and Ukraine between June 8 and July 1, 2012. L’viv will be abuzz with sports fans, who will be attending matches on June 9, 13, and 17. This will provide a chance for students take in the excitement and drama.

The second part introduces the exchange that the University of Alberta has with Ivan Franko National University in Lviv.

The third part talks about the city of Lviv and offers resources useful to those visiting this magnificent city.

School Statute (1585),
Confraternity School of the Dormition, Lviv

Established by the Orthodox inhabitants of Lviv, this school was part of larger educational project inspired by Renaissance ideas in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
