AZH ART JOURNAL.  Devoted to the cinema, contemporary urban culture, photography, «АЖ. АРТ ЖУРНАЛ»,  also considers the Ukrainian and international art and literary scenes.
 
АРТ
ВЕРТЕП. The name of this Dnipropetrovsk-based site, combines the English word "Art" and вертеп, the Ukrainian name for the traditional puppet theatre, a two-story construct depicting both the divine and the human aspects of the Christmas narrative. The site publishes discussions on a wide variety of cultural topics, news about cultural events throughout Ukraine, and audio-clips of performances. It also sells books, CD's, audio-books, arts and crafts.
 
BUKVOJID  (The bookworm)  The site «Буквоїд» is dedicated to news of the literary world. Besides discussing recent publications, it features reviews, a forum, and conferences, which are preserved online. 
 
HOHOLIVS'KA AKADEMIIA (Hohol's [Gogol's] Academy).  The site «Гоголівська академія» is intended as a creative laboratory for writers, critics and readers, and endeavors to help writers reach fellow writers, as well as a wider audience of critics and publishers.
 
INSHA LITERATURA.  Translated into English, «Інша література» means "Another Literature." As the name suggests and the introductory editorial explicitly states, the journal's aim is to publish material that does not conform to the pressures of the market, thereby rejecting the aesthetics standards of popsa / попса. Sections include: Another Country; Another Politics; Another Culture; Another Music; Another Theatre; Another Cinema; a Forum and Blogs. «Інша література» publishes poetry, prose, reviews, articles and interviews.
 
KINO-KOLO.  Ukraine's national cinema portal and web site of the journal «KINO-КОЛО». Contains News, Articles, Interviews, Film Scripts, contact numbers for Cinema Theatres in Kyiv, Information about Conferences, and a Forum. Also includes a bank of photographs and and an "Encyclopedia" of Ukrainian and World cinema.
 
KUT.  Internet newspaper devoted to culture. «Кут» includes news about arts, books, cinema, the theatre, and music.
 
Ji  [referring to the thirteenth letter in the Ukrainian alphabet, which is pronounced 'Yi']. Web site of the journal «Ї», which is published by the eponymous NGO and devoted to aspects of Ukrainian culture, Ukraine's integration into Europe, as well as transborder cultural, political, and economic cooperation.  Sections include: an archive of the journal; discussion of books published by Ji; reports about seminars and conference organized by Ji; news Items; discussions; editorials; young authors; and an art gallery. Editor: Taras Vozniak.
 
Lit[erary] Accent / ЛітАкцент.  A project of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy's centre for the Study of Contemporary Literature, the site is devoted to Ukrainian and international works. It includes critical discussions about literature and culture in general.
 
POETYCHNI MAISTERNI.  As the name suggests, «Поетичні майстерні» is an online workshop intended primarily for poets. The site also publishes discussions, translations, critiques, and links to recorded readings and videoclips of various performances not limited to the Ukrainian language.
 
POTIAH 76, TSENTRAL'NOIEVROPEIS'KYI CHASOPYS.  This Internet publication, titled «Потяг 76, Центрально європейський часопис» (Train 76, a Central European Newspaper) situates Ukrainian culture within the panorama of Central European developments.  Its first two "train wagons" are devoted to poetry and prose. Its "second class" wagons are devoted to essays, interviews and translations. A separate section reports on the news of the literary scene, including publications, awards and festivals.
 
ROZHEVYI SLONYK.  As the name suggests, «Рожевий слоник» (The Little Pink Elephant) is a portal that endeavors to support the creativity of young authors engaged in a variety of genres: illustrations; photography; film reviews; essays; criticism; music; drama; translation; video-art; and all types of artistic experimentation.
 
SYTO. The bi-lingual portal «Сито» (The Sieve, in English) is dedicated to the theatre, music, literature, cinema and visual arts. Besides featuring a forum, is has a collection of music recordings, an art gallery, a collection of videos, and a calendar of art events.
 
UKRAÎNS'KYI ZHURNAL.  Web site of «Український журнал», which appears both in print and on the Internet. Based in Prague, this publication is the collaborative effort of Czech, Slovak, Polish and Ukrainian citizens whose primary interest is in transcultural dialogue on cultural, social, and political issues.  Published in Ukrainian, the journal does publish selected articles in Czech.
