Methodology
The methodology employed by this project will largely follow that successfully employed in previous SSHRC-sponsored projects, refined to capitalize on new circumstances and things we learned from our earlier efforts. This project will involve extended field stays of two months in the UNT communities of Patla and Chicontla for myself and the students involved in the project, alternating with month-long on-site visits to the University of Alberta campus by Totonac speakers.
