This is the first course in advanced microeconomic theory. It has the purpose to understand the role of the strategic behavior, the decision-making processes of firms and consumers and the theory of market institutions, and general equilibrium.

Economics 431. (Topics in) Labor Economics (information not available during the academic year 2009-2010)

This is an advanced undergraduate course in Labor Economics. Its purpose is to provide students with a deeper understanding of how the strategic interaction between employers and employees and the presence of economic incentives shape the design of firm’s wage schemes, employee’s decision about educational attainment, wage determination within collective bargaining, and household decision about labor supply.

Economics 384. Intermediate Microeconomics II (information not available during the academic year 2009-2010)

This course studies the role of strategic behavior (game theory) and the theory of market institutions, information and general equilibrium.
