Current Research
My PhD research involves the analysis of skeletal material from the Bronze Age site of Tell Leilan in Syria for microscopic signs of disease. Working under a bioarchaeological framework, I am integrating data from the human skeletal remains at Tell Leilan with information from historical texts, the archaeological context, and the local ecological setting to understand the effects of socio-political change on population health.
