Current Research
My proposed research will use stable strontium isotopes to investigate mobility among past populations inhabiting the valley of Stymphalos, Greece. My work, conducted under Dr. Sandra Garvie-Lok will attempt to identify local residents from migrants into this area. Although I am focusing on isotopic analysis for my MA thesis, I also am involved in the archaeological excavation of Kastro Kallithea, Greece, directed by Dr. Margriet Haagsma. My main interest lies in the osteoarchaeological investigation of classical Greek and Roman populations.
