SWT + 25: Twenty-Five Years After Graduation!

A lot has happened since 1985. School systems have changed, labour markets have been restructured, politicians have come and gone, and the global economy and political environment are far different. At the individual level, participants in Project 1 are now in their early 40s. We have not been in touch since 1999, over a decade ago, and we are very curious about how they are doing, in their jobs and careers, families and communities. We would like to know what they now think about some of the topics we first began discussing with them 25 years ago.

In late 2009, the research team applied for funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) to conduct a 25-year follow-up study of participants in Project 1. We are pleased to announce that the grant application was successful, and we are conducting the 2010 follow-up study.
