The U of A Coalition Against War and Racism is made up of students, professors, staff
and others united in a common cause: We call for an end to military aggression in the
Arab and Islamic worlds and an end to racist hysteria at home. We stand opposed to old
and new forms of racism, including increased intolerance against Arabs and Muslims and
discriminatory immigration policies. Our mandate includes:

1) Facilitating cooperation among all individuals and groups sharing similar concerns;
2) Providing a clearinghouse of information for sharing relevant resources;
3) Implementing anti-war and anti-racism education;
4) Organizing direct forms of action, including events that support the cause.

As a first step, we demand that the bombing of Afghanistan STOP IMMEDIATELY.

We meet every Thursday at 4:30pm in Humanities 1-7. All Welcome!
